At-Tur Rebirth Project

At-Tur Rebirth Project plants olive trees in Palestine

At-Tur is Arabic for Mount of Olives and the name of a neighborhood in Jerusalem. The At-Tur Rebirth Project is a coalition of faith-based, labor, and anti-imperialist groups in Ithaca, NY that are raising awareness of the realities on the ground in occupied Palestine, and fundraising to support the farming communities there. In December 2018 they raised nearly $1000 to replant olive trees in Palestine!

This month they are generating support for women owned farming cooperatives in Palestine. They are now three quarters of the way to their revised goal of $2000!

By informing folks and giving them a material stake in Palestine’s future, they hope to play a role in rebuilding a Holy Land that is at peace.

The diverse groups in At-Tur Rebirth Project are showing the strength of all communities struggling for liberation from oppression when they stand together. We thank all of the diverse student groups behind this fundraising for Palestinian farm communities!
