Micro grant - Samar
Thanks to your support, Samar Rabay'ah in Maithalon village received a microgrant for her sheep dairy business: she will raise sheep for dairy products like white cheese and yogurt, and market them locally in her village. Maithalon cooperative is a new women's cooperative that joined the PFTA in 2015.
When Samar heard about the microgrant program through the local women's cooperative coordinator in her village, she immediately contacted and visited the PFTA office to apply for the program. She was the perfect candidate, as she is experienced in producing the products. She has already started implementing her business.
Samar, 30, married when she was very young, and graduated from university with a BA in Science. Her husband died when she was only 23, leaving her to raise twin daughters alone. She has since remarried and is shown above signing her contract in the PFTA office with their young son.
