A Documentary on Regenerative Farming: Kiss the Ground

Kiss the Ground documentary on regenerative agriculture

Since the 1970’s we have lost 30% of the Earth’s topsoil due to chemical/industrial agriculture practices. The UN reports that the world’s remaining topsoil will be gone in 60 years unless we act to save our soil. We have 60 harvests left.

The solution lies in listening to indigenous people who have long known and been connected to living plants. They know how to build healthy soil in a healthy ecosystem. Indigenous regenerative agriculture can save the soil and reverse climate change!

Kiss the Ground is a documentary that breaks down regenerative agriculture, a “new, old approach” to farming that can balance the earth’s climate, replenish our water, and feed our world.

Palestinian farmers have been tapping into their roots in regenerative agriculture by teaching young farmers in Palestine regenerative methods much like the ones featured in Kiss The Ground.

By watching this film, we hope that you are encouraged by its relevance and how it reveals Palestinian farmers are at the forefront of life-saving and community saving methods for Palestine and the world at large.

APRIL/2021 UPDATE: Kiss the Ground is streaming on Netflix and available to rent for $1 on vimeo.
